History & Vision

Meet the owner

After discovering Rossland in 2012 and settling here in 2014, I knew this forested mountainside was something special. I set out to create Red Arrow Station—a nature-based retreat nestled at the foot of a ski hill—without disturbing the beauty that drew me in. Inspired by my own travels and love for immersive, low-impact stays, I built elevated cabins using wood milled right from the land.

Here, you can step outside and be instantly surrounded by trees, trails, and wildlife—no car required. This is just the beginning. I’m excited to share the magic of this place with you.

Lumber

All of the large timbers, wood cladding and even some of the interior decor and furniture you’ll find throughout Red Arrow Station was milled from the fallen trees on the property.

Low Impact

The Cabins at Red Arrow Station were designed from the ground up to have as low of an impact as possible on the earth and environment. Placed delicately on the surface and nestled amongst the trees, The Cabins feel like you’re in your own personal tree house. Walking trails have weave between the trees throughout the property for you to explore and become one with nature during your visit.
